Will the Pro Upgrade Kit work with my Nordic Hyper?

The Pro Upgrade Kit works on ALL Nordic Hypers, no matter when you bought yours.

What's included in the Pro Upgrade Kit?

The Pro Upgrade Kit includes a Pro Rear Base for better stability, upgraded Nordic and Back Extension Pads for better comfort, and a Vertical Storage Bar.

Can I use my own strap instead of the Upper Body Kit?

The Upper Body Kit includes an eyebolt which installs onto the Leg Developer. While technically you could install your own eyebolt to use your own strap, most straps will not work well with the Leg Developer.

The Multi Strap features 5 different length adjustments which were each selected with specific movements in mind.

Can I use the GHD Attachment with my Nordic Hyper?

To use the new GHD Attachment with your Nordic Hyper, you need to buy the Pro Upgrade Kit. This includes the GHD Attachment along with a Pro Rear Base and upgraded padding.

The Pro Rear Base is needed to stabilize the Hyper during GHD movements using the attachment.

How does the Leg Developer Attachment compare to traditional bench attachments?

Compared to a traditional leg extension/curl bench attachment, the Leg Developer has a few major upgrades:

45° Loading Bar for constant tension in Leg Extensions
Decline Hamstring Curl position for an even strength curve
5.1" XL rollers for maximum comfort and muscle engagement
Easy to attach, takes only 20 seconds
Height adjustable, 12 Hamstring Curl horizontal positions and 4 Leg Extension vertical positions

Why does the Leg Developer include XL Loading Bars?

The Nordic Hyper includes a pair of 2" loading bars for loading weight plates on the front base. The Leg Developer includes a replacement set of 4" XL loading bars to give you more grip when you take the attachment on and off.

Does the Leg Developer Attachment take long to attach?

The Leg Developer attaches in less than 5 seconds with the quick attach mechanism.

How long does it take to assemble the Leg Developer Attachment?

Assembly takes 10-15 minutes. All required tools are included in the box.

Is the Leg Developer Attachment adjustable?

The Leg Extension rollers have 4 vertical settings and the Leg Curl rollers have adjustments 12 horizontal settings to support users from 5' to 7' tall.

How much weight can I use with the Leg Developer Attachment?

The Leg Developer is ASTM rated for 225 lbs in home use.

How does the Hyper Pro with the GHD Attachment compare to a traditional Reverse Hyper?

A traditional Reverse Hyper uses a loaded pendulum and pulls the back into spinal decompression.

Bodyweight or banded Reverse Hypers such as on the Freak Athlete Hyper do not pull the back through spinal decompression. The focus and tension is on the top portion of the movement when the body is extended.

This movement brings a ton of blood flow in to help strengthen the posterior chain with minimal risk of injury.

With the GHD Attachment, you can train through a full range of motion if you are 6' 6" or shorter.

Are weight plates included with the Hyper Pro and Leg Developer Attachment?

No, our Hyper Pro and Leg Developer Attachment do not come with weight plates.

Will the attachments work with my version of the Hyper?

All our attachments are backwards compatible and work with both the Nordic Hyper GHD and the Hyper Pro versions.
