Really awesome sled. I use it for myself (42 year old, very good shape and condition) for extra work at home. I also use it for my son and his friends (10 year olds). It’s very solid and we absolutely love how it takes only seconds to go from push, to drag, to wheelbarrow. I do a mile at a time and alternate every 1/4 mile.
Sled training is amazing! That feeling after a good sled run where you can’t breathe and it feels like fat is evaporating … it just hits different, in a good way. Freak Athlete does an excellent job thinking through the small details. It is easy to change from stand-up storage mode to wheelbarrow mode to sled mode. I love the small foot print when stored and the incredible burn when in use. I use my sled on pavement … and that pavement is not in mint condition. Despite this, the pads on this sled are fantastic. Once I get going, there’s no friction with the road. Also, the sled is well balanced. I have never felt the sled trying to lift up off the ground. It’s nice that the posts move easily from one side to the other as I like to do “there and back” sled runs. I don’t have to burn unnecessary energy trying to turn the weighted sled around. I just pick up the posts and insert them on the other side. Easy, low energy to do that. Just as Freak Athlete did with its amazing Hyper Pro (I sure hope everyone owns some version of that because damn it’s awesome), Freak Athlete hit a home run with this sled. Big time recommend this sled for anyone who wants to add sled training to their workout schedule. Note that I turned my lights orange for the “group photo” in honor of Freak Athlete.
Very very happy with this purchase. I shopped extensively for a sled for Hyrox / ATG training and this sled almost seemed too good to be true. Things like the skis, wraparound carabiner attachment, and wheelbarrow mod were all significant up charges from other companies but come standard on this sled. The final question was quality and I’m happy to report that this thing is solid. I’ve loaded it up with 6 plates on the sidewalk and it performed beautifully. The skis leave some tracks behind on sidewalk but the runoff from my sprinklers is enough to remove it. There really is no better value to be found on the market and I’ve already recommended this sled to several friends.

This piece of equipment is great. I have used in both wheelbarrow and sled mode and got a fantastic work out. I will definitely make this an active part of my routine.
This is my second sled, and hands down the best piece of workout equipment I own, or that I have seen anywhere. Since I prefer to work out at home (you can see my driveway in the photos) this new sled has been so carefully thought out that I can’t think of anything that would make it better. The wrap around rail means I no longer have to turn the sled around, only my own body. The four-post option does the same for pushes. The Wheel Barrow mode is an outstanding workout, I throw a water bottle on top of my weights and sandbags and take a 15 minute walk (with breaks) around my block. The sled breaks down for storage in less than a minute, and the 2 transportation wheels is the icing on the cake, as well as the vertical minimalist storage. A ten out of ten.

My sled arrived today! Shipping was pretty quick. It was packaged very well. Assembly was easy. The video made assembly even easier. The belt it came with seems very durable/made well. Overall the sled seems very durable. I can't wait to try it out!
While the setup video moved a little fast for me, once the sled was set up, it was super easy to use!!! I opted to keep the skis on since I’m using the sled on concrete and it slides beautifully!!! I was super hesitant with this sled because other sleds I’ve used were a pain to move on concrete, but the skis are wonderful!! If you aren’t sure, just know you’ll regret it if you don’t buy a sled!!! Great prices and great product!!!
This sled exceeded my expectations, as far as just being a functional sled, it's fantastic, the oversized plastic skis make it quieter than I would have believed, the wheelbarrow functionality works really well, the ability to continuously drag the sled without having to reposition is great. One thing that really blew me away and it's a small detail and has nothing to do with the actual product was the way the product was packaged. I've received a lot of gym equipment over the years and one constant from almost every company is crappy packaging. Their packaging was fantastic. They included everything you needed to put it together. It was easy to put together. They even included a pump to get the wheel going. Freak athlete has become one of my favorite fitness companies and I think they are truly innovating.

I hate advertising, but I have to check my Instagram feed to keep up with various hobbies and what not. Due to my algorithm, I started getting Nordic adverts. I saw the Nordic mini, watched a video by the garage gym guy (Coop), and started researching the various options. Of course, eventually I saw the new Nordic being offered by Freak Athlete (pre roller for split squats, pre GHD pad) and I ordered it. Then they announce they are building a sled/wheel barrel!! I was thinking, man am I getting targeted by this app? What does Freak Athlete know about me, do they have access to my mic? ;-) I kid, but I did see their advert for it, and I believe I might have even received an email from them about this new piece (as a pre-order customer for the Nordic). Knowing how I despise leg day in my home gym, I really wanted some new items I could incorporate into my leg routines, and I was interested in functional training, as well as interested in doing routines that include multiple muscle groups. I put work in on this thing in my court this afternoon. Pushes, pulls, sprints, drags, several sets, for 30' each way. When I was done with the sled, I converted it right in the street, and did a few laps of farmer carries before rolling it up the driveway and back into the garage. The only thing I regret, is not spending a little more for another set of arms. I was also thinking how I could attach a rope to this thing so I can work my back with some pulls. I think it might be easy to modify it for rope pulls. Anyway, long story short, get this. It will take a beating, and you will have fun using it. I can honestly say, it was fun pushing and pulling this thing around, I kind of felt like a kid riding his bike in the court.

Just started using WheelBarrow Sled. Glides smoothly and quietly on the rather rough asphalt street where I live. The wheelbarrow setup gave me an unexpectedly good workout, and the thick handle posts really allow for great grip strenghtening! I also have the Hyper Pro bench and love it's versatilty! I think this is a well built piece!! I am using it on finished concrete in my basement. Just what I needed
My first concerns the noise it would make sledding on the sidewalk and let me tell you - DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT!! It makes noise yes but the video proves it's relatively quite considering. Primarily purchased for helping our son's soccer training but also a plus for mom & dad to use for workout as well. 10/10 would highly recommend! Absolutely the best out there on the market
First time trying out our new sled, we all took turns trying out all of the different ways to use the sled! It moved well over our grass and was easy to transition from one type of exercise to another. Highly recommend.
This is a perfect sled for my garage gym. I’m currently using it as my warm up exercise with light weight. The rail has been a great feature I didn’t know I needed. Great product that I plan to have for a long time.
I really like the ease of use and utility of this sled, however, my biggest issue with it is that I use it on a very patchy green space that isn't very flat or filled in everywhere with grass, and I believe that if you had 2 long skis that connected both ends together (more surface area for contact), it would make my sledding experience a lot smoother because right now, the friction on this patchy grass is very up and down, and sometimes the ski gets caught on a high patch. I was actually think of making a couple of plastic skis for it to make the sledding smoother.
Sled is well built and works great. I use it almost everyday. The metal loop which allows the belt to slide to the other side without turning the sled is awesome. Great product highly recommended!
Brilliant design, great competitive price, I like how easily the sled can be stored and tucked away. .
So far, so good. I've only used it a half dozen times but it doesn't hurt my knees but still works my quads. It was easy to assemble and it is very solid and well designed. It stores easily as well.
"This sled is way better and quieter then I expected. It glides up and down our patio so quietly. That I don't have to be concerned with disturbing my neighbors or family with a painful scrapping sound. And the quick any easy set up along with storage. Helps me to stay motivated to go outside and get a quick sledding in before I start my day. I also appreciate the stoppers that you included to keep me from getting pinched fingers from changing the weights. Love this product really well made. We absolutely love the sled/wheel barrow from Freak athlete. It’s a game changer. One of the hardest implements I’ve ever used and it can be done every day with no impact to the joints.
This sled has phenomenal versatility and is easy to set up. I will say the sled is not as hard to push as i thought it would be. Even with 4 45lb plates on, it is not as difficult to push as Rogue sleds have been. I don't know if this is because the weight sits slightly higher off the ground or not, but either way the sled is fantastic. I have even been able to put my 150lb sand bag on top of the sled and it has stayed on for additional weight. Highly recommend especially given the price!
I love it, used it the other day, in the wheel barrow position. I did a half mile pushing 45lbs. Man was I exhausted. Great piece of equipment out here in the countryside.
Solid steel and made for abuse!! Me and my 13 year old was worn out within 1 hour and are excited to start again tomorrow!
This sled has been amazing so far. There are so many features and it creates such a versatile workout. Every detail was clearly paid close attention to. Even the QR code cards to scan for install were robust. The plastic skis on the bottom seem very high quality and will probably last longer than expected.

Very impressed with the over quality & design of the wheel barrel sled. I bought this product because I’m a firefighter dealing with 2 back to back surgeries on my legs including 1 acl repair. Sled damage out of the box. Right handle pole is bent and sled front handle hole by wheel is bent making it to where you can't insert the handle pole. I am waiting on customer service to contact me.

It’s good but the grass need to be on level ground and some times it gets stuck in the dirt and isn’t that smooth.
Hi Reynaldo, If you plan to sled on pavement, concrete, asphalt, or rubber, the All Surface Rails will make sledding significantly smoother For turf, grass, or carpet, it is best to use the Wheelbarrow Sled without rails. Imo this is best value sled on the market, but unfortunately I had a great deal of difficultly unscrewing the plastic ski pads using the provided hex key as multiple screws were stripped during the process. I ended up having to get a screw extractor set to remove them :(
