Can I do hip thrusts and Bulgarian split squats on the Hyper Pro X?

They're not dedicated movements on the X, but you can still do both with the GHD attachment, which is included in the box.

Can I use the Leg Developer or Cable Attachment with the Hyper Pro?

No. The ABX version of the Leg Developer and Cable Attachment are designed specifically for the ABX and are not compatible with the Hyper Pro.

Can I use this without the Leg Developer for other movements?

No, the Cable Attachment installs directly on to the Leg Developer. It can not be used on its own.

What if I change my mind after I place a pre-order?

If you change your mind after pre-ordering and your product hasn't shipped yet, you are 100% covered. Simply send us an email and we will process a full refund.

Do I need tools to set it up?

No tools or extra parts are needed. Just like the Upper Body Kit, it connects directly to the Leg Developer for fast setup.

Does it replace traditional barbell squats?

It’s a great alternative. You can train with heavy loads while sparing your spine and minimizing joint stress.

Does the Apex require assembly?

Assembly takes about 30-45 minutes. All required tools are included in the box.

Does the Leg Developer work for single-leg movements?

Yes! The Leg Developer is built for both bilateral and single-leg training, giving you more versatility for your training.

What's the difference between the new GHD Attachment and the old version?

Unlike the original velcro pad, the new GHD Attachment connects directly to the frame, making it much more secure. It's also significantly larger and built with premium materials for enhanced comfort and durability.

Can I use the GHD Attachment with my Nordic Hyper?

Yes. The GHD Attachment is fully compatible with the Nordic Hyper when paired with the rest of the items in the GHD Pro Upgrade Kit. The Pro Rear Base in particular is needed to stabilize the Hyper during GHD movements using the attachment.

How is this different from the Hyper Pro?

The Apex delivers 4-in-1 functionality designed for commercial settings. Built with commercial-grade materials, it withstands heavy daily use in professional environments. While it still offers space-saving benefits, the Apex’s larger size makes it less compact for storage compared to the Hyper Pro.

The 4-in-1 Apex is less versatile and compact than the 9-in-1 Hyper Pro, but is more robust and simple to use. The Apex is built with commercial-grade materials to withstand heavy use in professional environments.

I already own an ABX Leg Developer. What do I need?

Just the adapter, and it's free. Check the box in the buy box above and we'll include a Hyper Pro X adapter with your order. Your ABX Leg Developer then works on both machines.

I already pre-ordered a Hyper Pro. Do I get the X?

Yes. If you pre-ordered for the October 30 shipment in the US, you'll receive the Hyper Pro X at no extra cost. Your Leg Developer upgrades to the ABX Leg Developer, your cable upgrades to the ABX Cable Attachment, and the Hyper Pro X adapter is included free. You don't need to do anything.

I already own a Hyper Pro/Nordic Hyper. Do I get a discount?

Yes, you get $200 off full price. The first $100 is already applied on this page, which is why it's $699.00 instead of $799.00. The second $100 is for existing Hyper owners, and we'll send you an email around September 30 with how to claim it, before the X starts shipping. The upgrade offer is expected to end on October 15.

Add the ABX Leg Developer to the same order and we take another $50 off it — $349 instead of $399. The Hyper Pro X and the Leg Developer together come to $948.

Is it safe to use heavy weights?

Absolutely. The built-in safety catch lets you fail safely without compromising your spine or stability.

Is the Leg Developer Attachment adjustable?

The Leg Extension rollers have 4 vertical settings and the Leg Curl rollers have adjustments 12 horizontal settings to support users from 5' to 7' tall.

How does the Leg Developer Attachment compare to traditional bench attachments?

Compared to a traditional leg extension/curl bench attachment, the Leg Developer has a few major upgrades:

How much weight can I use with the Leg Developer Attachment?

The Leg Developer is ASTM rated for 300 lbs plate loaded and 350 lbs cable driven in home use.

What size weight plates does the Leg Developer Attachment support?

The Leg Developer supports both standard (1") and Olympic (2") weight plates. It includes an Olympic weight sleeve adapter which attaches over the standard size weight sleeve.

Do I need to add weight to the Hyper Pro to prevent tipping?

You do not need to load weight plates on the storage bar to prevent tipping, even for explosive Nordic Curls.

How does the Hyper Pro with the GHD Attachment compare to a traditional Reverse Hyper?

A traditional Reverse Hyper uses a loaded pendulum and pulls the back into spinal decompression.

Bodyweight or banded Reverse Hypers such as on the Freak Athlete Hyper do not pull the back through spinal decompression. The focus and tension is on the top portion of the movement when the body is extended.

This movement brings a ton of blood flow in to help strengthen the posterior chain with minimal risk of injury.

With the GHD Attachment, you can train through a full range of motion if you are 6' 6" or shorter.

How long does it take to assemble the Hyper?

Assembly takes 30-45 minutes. All required tools are included in the box.

Can I train explosive GHD Sit-Ups?

Yes you can!

For explosive GHD Sit-Ups, simply load Olympic weight plates onto the front of the Hyper to maintain stability. There is a small loading bar on either side. 45-90 lbs total is enough for even the most explosive athletes, although up to 180 lbs is supported.

For controlled GHD Sit-Ups, no counterweight is needed.

What is the weight limit of the Hyper Pro?

The Hyper Pro is ASTM rated to support 500 Lbs.

How long does it take to attach the Leg Developer Attachment to the Hyper Pro?

The Leg Developer attaches in less than 5 seconds with the quick attach mechanism.

What can I train with the Apex?

You can train GHDs, Back Extensions, Nordic Curls, Hyperextensions, and more. The Apex primarily targets the posterior chain (hamstrings, glutes, and low back). These exercises are highly effective for rehabilitating back pain, correcting posterior chain imbalances, and developing overall strength.

What does the Belt Squat Attachment include?

The attachment includes the belt squat frame, adjustable FA belt, and built-in assist bar.

What exercises can I do with it?

Primarily belt squats and calf raises—perfect for building powerful legs with zero spinal load.

What height range does it support?

The Hyper Pro has multiple height settings to support users from 5’0” to 7’0” tall.

What is the weight limit of the ABX?

The ABX is rated to the following weight limits per ASTM safety standards.

Bench mode: 454 kg
Headrest (when folded down): 226 kg
Dip and Sit-Up Attachments: 226 kg
Leg Developer for leg extensions and hamstring curls: 136 kg (159 kg cable driven)

The Belt Squat Attachment is ASTM rated to support 225 kg.
