When will it ship and be available to preorder?
Our plan is to open preorders in late 2026 and start shipping in early 2027.
That timeline could still change as we finish development and manufacturing, and we'll post any update here first.
What happens if I had an earlybird reservation?
All earlybird reservation pricing will be honored! You have supported the MAIAK vision from the start and we wouldn't be here without you. Thanks for helping to make this possible!
What will the pricing be?
Pricing isn't final yet (earlybird reservations are locked in), but we expect the base unit to be under $1,200, with a discount if you buy two.
Our goal is to make this as affordable as possible without compromising on quality or function.
Since MAIAK is partnering with Freak Athlete, what is changing?
We've redesigned the Atom from the ground up.
We kept everything people loved about the original MAIAK GO: 220 lbs of resistance in a 9.9 lb unit, the smart training modes, and mounting almost anywhere. Then we rebuilt the hardware for better durability, reliability and build quality.
Yogi (Head of Product) and I have spent years working on the ground with our manufacturing partners in China, and we're bringing all of that experience to the Atom.
Once it's ready, we'll launch in the USA, EU, UK, Canada and Australia through our own warehouses.
Where can I mount it?
You can mount it almost anywhere. It’s designed for maximum versatility.
Plus we're developing a wide array of attachments.
What training modes will be available at launch?
We will be offering a traditional cable mode (normal strength curve), eccentric mode, drop set mode, and band mode at launch, as well as the ability to customize the strength curve and build presets!
Is there a safety mechanism?
Yes, a safety mechanism is planned for launch. If the cable stays in the same spot for a few seconds under load, the software treats it as you being stuck (picture the bottom of a press) and automatically ramps the resistance down to about 22 lbs.
